Quote guide

How to request an accurate quote

A complete request lets us check airspace, size the flight and give you a written estimate without a long back-and-forth.

Send us these seven things

  1. 01Site location

Street address, parcel ID, or a pin/KMZ boundary. Exact location lets us check airspace before quoting.

  2. 02Size or assets

Approximate acreage for mapping, number of buildings for inspections, number of stockpiles, or length of a right-of-way corridor.

  3. 03Dates and deadlines

Preferred window, any hard deadline, and for progress work the repeat interval (weekly, monthly, milestone).

  4. 04Deliverables and formats

GeoTIFF orthomosaic, point cloud (LAS/LAZ), 3D model (OBJ), DSM, photo sets, video — and the coordinate system or software your team uses.

  5. 05Accuracy, ground control and certification needs

Say whether results must tie to survey control or be certified. If yes, plan to involve a licensed surveyor; we fly to support their workflow.

  6. 06Site access and safety

Gate codes, site contact, PPE rules, active cranes or equipment, people on site, and where we can launch.

  7. 07Who will use the data

Owner reports, lender draws, engineering review, marketing — this shapes resolution, angles and file choices.

Aerial data capture vs. licensed survey and engineering

Athena Aerial Services captures and processes aerial RGB imagery. That is different from professional services that carry legal responsibility:

  • —Licensed land surveyors (PLS) establish boundaries, legal descriptions and certified coordinates. Our maps can support their work when they set and verify ground control, but we do not provide survey certification.
  • —Licensed engineers and qualified inspectors determine structural condition, code compliance and causes of damage. Our photos give them a clear view; they make the determination.
  • —Utility and electrical work requires qualified workers and utility approvals, which we do not hold. Power-line inspection is not offered.

What happens after you send a request

  • —We review location, airspace and scope, and reply by email with questions or a written estimate.
  • —Pricing is tailored to each project — call for details. Nothing is binding until you accept a written quote.
  • —Arizona requests: we confirm scheduling availability before quoting firm dates.
